Health Tips

  • An average adult needs to drink about 64 oz of water (six to eight 8 oz glasses)per day

  • Moderate-intensity aerobic activity 150 min (30 min per day for 5 days a week) is recommended to stay healthy

  • Our body needs 7-9 hours of sleep every night to function optimally. Avoid screens, caffeine, and heavy meals before bed

  • Strength-building exercises twice a week is good to maintain muscle mass

  • Improve flexibility and reduce injury risk by stretching and hydrating after workouts

  • Routine annual wellness visit with physical (including age-appropriate screenings and preventative vaccinations) from your doctor is essential for everyone to prevent and detect health problems

  • ​Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol intake which can lead to various health problems 

  • Eat a balanced diet including variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats in your diet.  Reduce your intake of added sugars, salt, and unhealthy fats
